Hello Custom House
I'm happy to say that it has been a relatively light crime week across Custom House. Read on for the whats, the wheres and the whens. Theft from a Vehicle06/06/2026 – Number plates were stolen from a Kia parked on Maplin Road. Theft from a Person05/06/2026 – A phone snatch occurred in Canning Town Recreation Ground (Prince Regent Lane side). It was reported that a group of teenagers on e-scooters snatched a phone from a victim's hand. 08/06/2026 – A cycle-enabled phone theft was reported near Prince Regent DLR station. Theft Advice06/06/2026 – A parcel was stolen from a communal area in a block on Burrard Road. 04/06/2026 – And another parcel was stolen from a delivery van in Hoskins Close. AdviceAs always, keep your phones tucked away Especially at transport hubs. If you see someone standing next to you at a bus stop with their phone out and your too shy to say something, be their eyes for them and give them a heads up if you see something suspicious. In Other NewsWhilst on proactive patrol yesterday, PC Tattam arrested a man for dealing drugs. Following a search of his home address, officers recovered a mix 29 hunting knives and machetes.
Until next week... Be good, have fun and stay safe.
